Defective Verbs in Spanish.

Hello, Super Learners,

Welcome back to Spanish Super Tutor! I’m Miguel Marina, and today we are going to explore an intriguing aspect of Spanish verbs that often puzzles learners: Defective Verbs in Spanish.

Why focus on Defective Verbs in Spanish?

Defective verbs are unique because they are not conjugated in all the usual forms or tenses that typical Spanish verbs are. Understanding these verbs is crucial for advanced learners who want to polish their Spanish by mastering even its most exceptional elements.

What are Defective Verbs in Spanish?

Defective verbs in Spanish are verbs that lack certain forms or tenses, typically because they are either not used or don't exist in the language's structure. These verbs can sometimes only be used in certain persons, numbers, or tenses, which makes them particularly special and interesting to learn.
