Lesson Content Part 1: Vocabulary for House Chores Let's start by learning some vocabulary related to house chores: "Limpiar" (To clean) "Barrer" (To sweep) "Aspirar" (To vacuum) "Lavar los platos" (To wash the dishes) "Hacer la cama" (To make the bed) "Cocinar" (To cook) "Hacer la lavandería" / "Lavar la ropa" (To do the laundry) "Sacar la basura" (To take out the trash) Part 2: Discussing Your Responsibilities Next, we'll learn how to discuss your responsibilities at home using this new vocabulary: "Yo tengo que [chore]." (I have to [chore].) For example: "Yo tengo que hacer la cama." (I have to make the bed.) "A mi me toca [chore]." (It's my turn to [chore].) For example: "A mi me toca cocinar." (It's my turn to cook.) Part 3: Talking About Frequency of Chores Finally, we'll learn some expressions to talk about the frequency of chores: "Yo [chore] todos los días." (I [chore] every day.)
