Lesson 4: The House - Part 1 Introduction Welcome to Lesson 4! In this lesson, we will start exploring vocabulary and expressions related to the house and its different parts. We will focus on the basic structure of a house and some common rooms. Learning Objectives By the end of this lesson, you should be able to: Understand and use basic vocabulary related to the house in Spanish. Describe the structure of your house. Talk about some common rooms in a house. Lesson Content Part 1: Vocabulary Related to the House Let's start with some basic vocabulary related to the house: "La casa" (The house) "El apartamento" (The apartment) "El edificio" (The building) "La habitación" / "El cuarto" (The room) Part 2: Describing the Structure of Your House Now let's learn how to describe the structure of your house: "Mi casa tiene [number] habitaciones." (My house has [number] rooms.) "Vivo en un edificio de [number] pisos." (I live in a [number] story building.) Part 3: Common Rooms in a House Finally, we will talk about some common rooms in a house: "La cocina" (The kitchen) "El baño" (The bathroom) "La sala" (The living room) "El comedor" (The dining room) "El dormitorio" (The bedroom) Practice Activity Write a paragraph describing your house or apartment. Include the number of rooms it has and talk about some of the rooms you have mentioned. Use the vocabulary and phrases we've learned in this lesson. Assessment At the end of the lesson, there will be a quiz to assess your understanding of the vocabulary and phrases learned in this lesson.
