  • "Lavar los platos" (To wash the dishes)

  • "Hacer la cama" (To make the bed)

  • "Cocinar" (To cook)

  • "Hacer la lavandería" / "Lavar la ropa" (To do the laundry)

  • "Sacar la basura" (To take out the trash)

Part 2: Discussing Your Responsibilities

Next, we'll learn how to discuss your responsibilities at home using this new vocabulary:

  • "Yo tengo que [chore]." (I have to [chore].) For example: "Yo tengo que hacer la cama." (I have to make the bed.)

  • "A mi me toca [chore]." (It's my turn to [chore].) For example: "A mi me toca cocinar." (It's my turn to cook.)

Part 3: Talking About Frequency of Chores

Finally, we'll learn some expressions to talk about the frequency of chores:

  • "Yo [chore] todos los días." (I [chore] every day.) For example: "Yo lavo los platos todos los días." (I wash the dishes every day.)
